News - Spring 2012

Acricket towers these notes are written, the cricket field is covered in snow, and it is hard to imagine that in a little over two months' time our season will begin. We shall again be fielding two Saturday teams in the League, and there will also be a programme of Sunday fixtures. We shall also participate in the Village Knockout competition.

Many of our players are already attending winter nets, and we are hoping to field somewhat stronger sides than last season. We shall welcome new playing members, and very much hope that in the 2012 season more people from the village will come and watch cricket, and maybe enjoy a drink on a summer's evening.

On Sunday, 10th June, there will be a drinks party at Coleshill Cricket Club, between noon and 2 pm. Everyone in the village is invited, and we hope you will stay to watch cricket in the afternoon.

The Club's annual Dinner/Dance is fixed for Saturday, 24th November – further details will be published in the next Newsletter, but please book the date.

Coleshill Cricket Club's fixture card will be delivered to every house in the village as the season approaches, and we very much look forward to your support.
