News and Social Events
The new season is up and running and has brought its traditional
mixture of highs and lows. The 1st XI has failed to win a league
game but have lost three very close encounters and currently remain
bottom of the league. The 2nd XI have had a very positive and
encouraging start to the season with a mixture of youth and
experience they are third in the table.
Coleshill cricket club have this year entered into a reciprocal
agreement with Gerrards Cross cricket club whereby we are offering
league cricket to some of the Gerrards Cross colts and in return our
colts are being welcomed at Gerrards Cross. They will receive
professional coaching and the opportunity to play colts cricket. In
a recent Gerrards Cross colt’s game Christopher Edwards took a Hat
Trick, so all looks good for the future.
In the mean time here is our usual plea for new players: if you or
anyone you know is looking to play cricket we are always on the
lookout.
Your continued support is greatly appreciated and we hope to see
many of you during the season.
We are very grateful for the continued support of the Village.
Hoping for some long hot summer days and many more wins for both
teams.
