News - Autumn 2017

Thank you to all those who entered the Village Show in July and to all those who helped us get the marquee up and ready and manage everything on the day.

Whilst it's hard to be precise, it seems as if we had a similar number of entries to last time, but from a wider range of people - of all ages - which is great.

Baking, Art and Photography were particularly competitive, so congratulations to all the winners.

Thank you also to Ted Haynes for the loan of his marquee, and to the Windsors for providing some extra tables that were badly needed at the last minute to cope with all the entries.

Finally, the two of us have been managing the show since the last century! Un-derstandably we feel it is time for others to take this on and bring some fresh eyes and energy to it. Full briefing and support will definitely be provided. If you'd like to discuss the possibility of being involved further, please drop us a line: This email address is being protected from spambots.
